About Us

Youth ARTS Alive was founded on the belief that visual and performing arts education should be accessible and available for all. Our mission is to provide the youth of Santa Maria with fun and enriching visual and performing arts classes that ignite the imagination!

Since 2017, Youth ARTS Alive has provided FREE summer classes to children in dance, theatre, music, visual art, and more!  Through grants and generous donations, we have expanded our operation with more locations, subjects, and instructors to better serve our community.

We are a non-profit that operates under the Santa Barbara County Action Network (SBCAN), a "countywide grassroots organization that works to promote social and economic justice, to preserve our environmental and agricultural resources, and to create sustainable communities."
